Custom Clothing: Why we LOVE Stanley/Stella!

Sustainability is much more than just a modern buzzword. As humans make ever greater demands on our delicate and vulnerable planet, working in a responsible and sustainable manner is absolutely crucial. From the very moment that Printoteca was founded, we have been committed to reducing environmental impact during our creation of premium quality merchandise.

One of the greatest things about the print on demand industry is its sustainability. Clothing and accessories are produced to order rather than being mass-produced, which often leads to waste. The inks used are biodegradable and non-toxic, while the entire process uses much less water and energy than traditional printing methods.     

We have gone even further in our mission to protect the environment. None of our packaging contains plastic and instead we use biodegradable foil or paper/cardboard that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Since 2020, we work to Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) values and were proud to become the first GOTS-certified company in our region.

When it comes to textiles, every single product in our portfolio is made using sustainable materials like recycled polyester and organic cotton. We choose to source our products from suppliers who share our values and commitments. One of these suppliers is Stanley/Stella.  

The organic cotton used to manufacture Stanley/Stella garments carries both GOTS and Organic Cotton Standard (OCS) certification. The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is used to certify any recycled materials that are used. All clothing from the iconic Stanley/Stella brand also carries OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification and is compliant with the EU's REACH regulation.   

In addition to protecting the planet, Printoteca also cares about protecting workers across the supply chain. As an active member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), which works to ensure good working conditions and fair pay, the values of Stanley/Stella completely align with our own. Printoteca is extremely proud to be an official distributor of Stanley/Stella garments.
