Decoration methods

At Printoteca we use the most modern personalization methods for our products. Sustainability is central to the way we work, whether we're talking about DTG, DTF or Screen Printing.

DTG (Direct to garment).

The print directly in the fabric is the most popular method of personalizing textiles. The main advantage is that you are not conditioned by a minimum amount, the inks are water-based and the texture of the material is natural. The material printed by the DTG technique breathes and does not feel rubbery.

The DTG customization method has no color limit and can be applied to dark or light colored materials.

The disadvantage of this method is that the surface on which it is printed must be perfectly flat and made of natural materials. So that certain more special positions cannot be achieved or are very difficult to achieve.

DTF (Direct to foil)

DTF is a new method of personalization that combines the flexibility of personalization with DTG (quantity, colors) with its application almost anywhere on the textile material. For large quantities, the discounts are more generous because they are printed on a foil that is later applied to the material.

The texture is a little more synthetic but much better than in the case of the classic thermal transfer film.

Sublimation

At Printoteca, sublimation is used on promotional products such as mugs, phone cases, etc.

Embroidery

Automatic embroidery is done on almost all our products. We still recommend embroidery on thicker cotton products or recycled polyester products. Delivery time may be longer, subject to digitization of graphics into a special embroidery work file.

Screen printing

Screen printing is a personalization method that achieves a very good price/quality ratio. It is recommended for quantities of over 50 pieces of the same graphics model. The delivery time is longer than in the case of other printing methods, being conditional on the preparation of the screen printing sites and the realization of the entire volume.
