Embroidery disclaimers

  • The generated preview on the mockup is for visual reference only and might not match the final result.

  • Due to the limitations of the embroidery process, text with very small letters may be unreadable.

  • Elements with less than 3mm between them may be connected by segments of run-stitch or connecting threads, which can be 1.3–3 mm long. This is most noticeable in text.

  • The flatness and consistency of the stitching depend on the material on which it’s stitched.

  • Human involvement in the embroidery process can lead to minor variations in the exact embroidery placement on garments and products.

  • Large and heavy embroidery on thin fabrics can sometimes cause the fabric to curve or warp slightly.

Tips for best results

Embroidery differs from printing, so designs that look great on printed items might not translate well to embroidered products. For best results, stick to simple, bold artwork or text-based graphics with clean lines. Keep in mind that designs with fine or complex details may cause your order to be delayed

DTG (Direct to garment) is the technique we use for most of our clothing prints. We use eco-friendly, water-based inks that offer unlimited color combinations and allow us to achieve detailed prints.

file-earmark-check Upload PNG or JPEG files, at least 150dpi, in the configurator.

droplet-fillCreate files with the sRGB color profile
  • Avoid semi-transparent images. The DTG technique does not handle transparencies well.
  • Always create designs with the minimum DPI
  • For pure red, use RGB: 237, 52, 62
  • Remove the black background when printing on black clothes.

DTG Disclaimer

  • We do not print white ink on white products.
  • Products are manually placed on the machine. There may be slight image placement differences from one product to another.
  • We do not alter the graphics. We print what we receive.
  • We can resize the image down if the product does not support the maximum print size.

Tips for Optimal DTF Printing Results

Avoid using semi-transparent elements
Designs with reduced opacity or partial transparency don’t perform well in direct-to-film (DTF) printing. For better outcomes, use solid colors. If you want to simulate transparency, consider using halftone techniques instead. (For detailed guidance, check out our resource page.)

Incorporate transparent areas into your design
Strategically placed see-through elements can lighten the overall look of your design. This approach reduces the amount of ink and adhesive applied, resulting in a softer, more breathable feel compared to large blocks of solid color.

Design at the correct resolution from the start
Changing the resolution value of an existing image won’t improve its quality. To avoid pixelation and ensure sharp results, create your artwork with the proper DPI from the beginning—typically 300 DPI.

Avoid feathered or soft edges
Soft gradients or blurry edges don’t translate well in DTF printing. The fine ink dots required for these effects often fail to adhere properly, leading to uneven, blotchy outlines. Stick to crisp, defined edges for cleaner results.

Use high-resolution images for photo prints
DTF printing excels at full-color photo reproductions. For sharp, detailed outcomes, make sure your images are high-resolution. The higher the quality of your original file, the better the final print.

Important Notes for DTF Printing

  • A faint white underbase layer may be visible beneath the color layer due to how DTF prints are structured.

  • Prints may initially feel slightly stiff; this typically softens after a few washes.

  • Print breathability is lower compared to other methods and can vary by fabric type.

  • Washing in hot water may cause minor cracking in the print.

  • Always iron garments inside out—direct heat on the design may alter its color (e.g., white elements can become yellow).

Design Guidelines for Text and Lines

  • All lines should be at least 1 pt thick in Illustrator or about 4 px at 300 DPI in Photoshop.

  • Text should also have a minimum stroke weight of 1 pt, with recommended font sizes ranging from 10 to 12 pt, depending on the typeface.

  • For very small text, consider adding a background color behind the letters to reduce the risk of peeling or flaking over time.
