Why do we want to be better?

We are proud to be a sustainable and ethical company committed to using high quality products from sustainable raw materials and supporting responsible business practices.

We are GOTS certified, which means we are committed to complying with the certification's rigorous standards, including using organic and recycled materials, reducing environmental impact during the production process, and protecting workers' rights and working conditions. We strive to be a positive force in the textile industry and provide products that are good for our customers and the planet.

When we created Printoteca, we set out with the mission of growing an ethical project, through which we would offer quality printed products, made from sustainable raw materials, that would be worn for a long time.

Our path to sustainability

2016

We introduced the print-on-demand work system in our field and started the collaboration with Stanley/Stella

2018

We have invested in production equipment that has environmentally friendly inks and OEKO-Tex certificates

2019

We gave up plastic or plastic-containing packaging and switched to FSC-certified cardboard packaging

2020

We have started to adhere to the values expressed by GoTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)

2023

The first GoTS certified company in the field and in the region.

2024

We aim to produce even less waste by improving production management

We aim to get more people to buy less

Whether we're talking about our print on demand service and no minimum order requirement or the long life of our products, we're constantly concerned with giving people solutions to buy exactly what they need. We choose to sell premium products, with a long lifespan, at fair prices and which end up with an extremely low cost per wear.

100% of our textile portfolio consists of sustainable materials such as organic cotton or polyester from recycled materials

We choose suppliers who agree with our values and with whom we can offer Printoteca customers a #printbun on quality sustainable products.

We are transparent with all our work

We communicate transparently about the technologies we use, work processes, waste management in production, sources of supply and any aspect related to our impact on the environment. Each new Printoteca collaborator visits the workshop and has access to our production activity.

We are an official Stanley/Stella dealer

We are official distributors of Stanley/Stella, one of the world's leading organic cotton producers, whose products are GOTS, FairWear, PETA certified and comply with the Global Recycled standard.

Art prints are made on premium, sustainable paper

We are Hahnemulhe partners and print fine art prints on their premium, sustainable, long-life paper. Hahnemuhle is a brand recognized for its environmentally friendly processes: the entire production is made with green energy, all papers are vegan, the water used in paper production does not contain harmful substances.

We use packaging made from recyclable, reusable or biodegradable materials

We have eliminated plastic from the Printoteca packaging and use packaging made of kraft cardboard, paper or biodegradable foil. When possible, we reuse packaging from our suppliers and we encourage you to do the same with the packaging you receive from us.

We are continuously improving the processes in the workshop to minimize our impact on the environment

Sustainability is an ongoing mission. Although we are a small business, we believe our impact can be big if we stay committed to our values. We allocate a significant part of our resources to develop new solutions to consume less, waste less and give back to nature and the people around us as much as possible.
